I create daily reports, press releases, special reports, timelines, and other content related to press freedom issues in Turkey for International Press Institute (IPI). I write in both English and Turkish, ensuring that the content is adapted to the Turkish culture. I played a key role in localizing CFWIJ in Turkey, prioritizing delivering the accurate message rather than a literal translation. My goal is to effectively communicate with the target audience, making the brand relatable and understanding their needs.

Organizing and planning events
I coordinate both online and in-person events, taking into careful consideration the target audience and ensuring that we invite renowned individuals to enhance the reputation of the organization. I assume full responsibility for every aspect of the event and oversee the entire process. I am skilled at managing crises and handling unexpected situations. Moreover, I actively participate in select events on behalf of our organization, delivering engaging and interactive presentations rather than simply reading from a script. I utilize interactive graphics and visuals to facilitate audience comprehension and enhance their retention, avoiding reliance on presentations overloaded with text.

Leading campaigns
I have successfully managed multiple global campaigns at the IPI and CFWIJ, making informed decisions regarding their launch. I have collaborated with various teams throughout these campaigns, strategically planning both the preparation and engagement processes. Additionally, I have been responsible for creating visual assets, graphics, and other design-related work for these campaigns. I have actively reached out to individuals within the industry, encouraging their participation in our campaigns.
Data visualisation
I managed databases and incorporated essential information as per the specific requirements. Additionally, I employed my creativity and expertise to generate visually appealing representations, including graphics and engaging infographics. These visual elements played a pivotal role in simplifying the comprehension of complex data and facilitating the identification of emerging global trends.

Social media management
During my time, I had the important role of overseeing and handling the various social media platforms for the organizations I was affiliated with, whether it was through my employment or voluntary work. This included tasks such as content creation, scheduling posts, engaging with the online community, and analyzing the performance and impact of our social media presence. It was my duty to ensure that the organizations’ messages and values were effectively communicated to the target audience, while also fostering engagement and building a strong online presence.

Website Management
As part of my role at CFWIJ, I was responsible for the efficient and effective oversight and management of the websites of the organizations I worked for. This encompassed various tasks such as ensuring timely updates, designing visuals, implementing user-friendly features, optimizing website performance, and monitoring website analytics. Additionally, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop and execute website strategies, including content creation, search engine optimization (SEO), and user experience enhancement. By actively staying abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices, I continuously sought opportunities to improve the websites and enhance their online presence, ultimately contributing to the organizations’ overall success.
